RETREAT PAYMENT POLICY

To secure your place at a retreat a non-refundable deposit is required. You can pay via direct bank deposit or credit card (processing fees apply). You can pay the full amount up front, or the balance can be paid in line with the stipulated payment terms.

Deposits and all payments are non-refundable. There are no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, missed flights, flight cancellations, travel delays, illness or Force Majeure. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, there are no refunds. You are welcome to transfer your payment to a similar retreat or training if there is a retreat or training scheduled within 12 months of the date of the retreat or training from which you're transferring and there's an available space. As much as we'd love to be able to compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (family emergency, natural disaster, injury, illness, Force Majeure, etc) we have costs already incurred when reserving a retreat centre for which we are fully liable. 

We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance that at least covers you for COVID. You might also like to consider 'Cancel for Any Reason' insurance.

IF I CANCEL A RETREAT OR TRAINING

In the unlikely event that we cancel a retreat or training, and provided that the retreat centre refunds our deposits, we will refund to you your deposit and all payments you've made. We are not able to compensate you for airfares, travel, or any other costs you've incurred, such as processing fees or currency discrepancies between the time of booking and the time of refund. 

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a retreat or training because of weather, acts of God, a natural disaster, pandemic, Force Majeure, or political upheaval, we can't guarantee a refund. Any refund would be dependent upon receiving a refund from the retreat centre we're working with. 

Again, to cover these potential risks, we strongly suggest you purchase travel insurance.

FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for any failure or delay in performing an obligation under these Terms and Conditions that is due to any of the following causes, to extend beyond our reasonable control:

Acts of God, accidents, riot, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, civil commotion, breakdown of communication facilities, breakdown of web host, breakdown of internet services provider, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations, national strikes, fire, explosion, generalised lack of availability of raw materials or energy.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

The best way to protect yourself from unforeseen circumstances is to purchase cancellation/interruption insurance. Travel insurance will protect you from:

  • Cancelling your participation in a retreat (ensure your policy offers this)

  • The retreat being cancelled due to natural disaster, weather, Force Majeure, or not enough participants for the retreat to go ahead

  • Lost personal items or baggage

  • Medical expenses and the cost of repatriation if you are injured or become ill

All policies are different. Make sure you select a policy that covers everything you require.

 

 

TRANSPORT TO AND FROM RETREATS

 

Airfares and transfers are your responsibility. We are not responsible for travel delays or cancellations.

We can organise your airport transfers to the retreat centre.
